Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge

Right off of Old Clinton Road, here in Westbrook, lies a beautiful wildlife preserve to take a nice walk down some trails. Upon entering, you are greeted with some rustic buildings and a small outpost that contains maps of the trails.

The majority of the trails are easy to walk on and are covered by gravel, but please note that there are other trails that are just clearings and rocky paths.

There are two observation decks that are newly built to look out and view not only the marsh, but the birds and such that live there.

Remember to always wear or carry your mask when you are out and adhere to wearing it if you come across other people less than six feet apart from you.
